Meet a team member - Helen from Sitara Handmade Jewelry

To create is one of the greatest joys !

I'm a happy designer and goldsmith from the land of the midnight sun. All my Sitara jewelry are handmade in Norway and each single gemstone are carefully selected by me ❤ I am strongly influenced by India with its sumptuous colorful culture.

I've also been collecting Norwegian and Nordic design jewelry "all my life".
I have a special love for the modernist jewelry, and the modernist Norwegian designers in particular.
I'm also very fond of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco era

I've been so fortunate to attend the PLUS-goldsmith education; the very same institution once attended by the world famous jewelry designers Tone Vigeland and Anna Greta Eker amongst others.

In my shop I sell both my own handmade Sitara jewelry and silver vintage jewelry.

Meet a team member - Viktoria from Dharma Art Design

Handcrafted jewelry since 2009

Hi!

I am Viktoria Breda and I'm an obsessed jewelry maker :)
I've been creating jewelry since September 2009, mostly of gemstones and minerals.

It started as a hobby, of course: something was missing, needed something extra to feel creative. My first audience were mineral exhibitions. Later I found a few retail sellers in my home country, started selling online, with more and more sales. Then, as I became more confident and had more and more sales, I started a small venture and it was my part-time job.

I had "grown international" when I discovered Etsy, and I felt very proud and happy that my work is appreciated in other countries, too. :o)

In January 2016, I moved to Norway with family - being expats, meant we had a lot to leave behind, including my venture, and new things to get used to, so now I am working on building my Norwegian and international business. Still, most of my sales come from in the US - Thanks! :)

What is my strategy? NO MASS PRODUCTION, but unique, handmade, often one-of-a-kind pieces (only a very few exceptions). My head is always full of new ideas and designs, my "workshop desk" is always full of materials and sketches of new designs, supplies waiting to be prepared - I am trying to keep up and share everything new here on Etsy (and on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest).

Please follow me to see my latest creations! :)

Meet a team member - Asa from Aasa Angelica Design

Healing jewellery designed in Norway!

I have always been making all kinds of different stuff. When I was a kid, I did not go to kindergarten because I was busy drawing. I did not understand why the other kids where interrupting me. When I got older I took an education for sowing and 1 year at a private school to learn fashion. When I finished that I started my own business, but got cut up with some spiritual people and lived with them in Chile sewing there clothes for about 3 years. When I came home to Sweden (I am Swedish, but live know I'm Norway) I started working as a cleaner in schools and kindergartens. I had enough and took the train to Oslo, Norway, and started cleaning gyms. But after 10 years of cleaning my body shut down. Then I met the father of my oldest son and and we lived in Spain for a few years. When our son was 1 year old we came to back Norway. Then I went to learn photography in a private school.

I have tried many different jobs over the years such as training instructor, diving instructor, receptionist at hotels and gyms, and photography, but I never really fit in. After going thru "an awakening process", I found Reiki healing (always knew I had this in me) and went to learn how to heal myself and my family and friends.

So now after 45 years on this planet, I will spend my time doing what I love, designing new things such as jewellery that I always come back to making. So thank you for reading this and hopefully supporting me on this exiting journey!!!

Love from Åsa Angelica!

Meet a team member - Katerina from Bohemian summer tales

Boho Colorful Faux Jewels

Hello!

As you already know my name is Katerina. I am Greek, but I moved to beautiful Norway few time ago...

In this shop I am going to show you the other side of myself...(I have multiples sides when it comes in jewelry, I am afraid..)

Jewelry craftsmanship is an art.. You can't limit it or define what can be beautiful by its materials...

Through my travels all these years, I collected different kind of nature materials as wood, shells, stones, beads.. Materials that may be cheap, but they can definitely give a marvelous result!

In Norway I found the inspiration I was looking for to awake my nature lover side.

The amazing landscapes, the way of life the Norwegians have, the respect which they treat the environment, all found a place in my heart.

And I created this shop..

With love to natural materials and eco friendly approach.

All of them combining with my Mediterranean Boho culture and the lovely pictures I already have in my heart from Greece.

Even the photos of my jewels, have been taken on my garden yard!

Everything you see is a puzzle piece to complete the Bohemian Summer Tales.

Enjoy!
